Punnamada Lake
Punnamada Lake or Punnamada Kayal is an extension of the Vembanad Lake. This lake spreads over the Kuttanad region in in Alappuzha district. The area around this lake is a scenic beauty and is covered with large coconut trees and areca nut trees. There are small boats sailing through the lake for transportation. A journey in such boats provides a picturesque view of the paddy fields, canals and the palm groves. All these are worth to be captured.
